QUESTION – What level rider do you cater for?
ANSWER – At Top End Cycling Adventures we cater for all riding levels but riders should have a minimum basic riding ability. Rides included in the tours are modified to match the groups skill level and we spend time pre tour getting to understand your skill level and desires. The tour also includes a pre tour ride to fit rider with their bike and confirm riders skill level.
QUESTION – When is the best time to ride in the Top End?
ANSWER – The Top End has two seasons – wet and the dry. The dry season from May to September is the nicest weather to ride in where as the wet season from September to April although hotter has some spectacular scenery as the rains bring everything to life and we see the best of nature.
QUESTION – Can I bring my own bike?
ANSWER – Yes you can bring your own bike to experience our favourite destinations although we can’t guarantee we have spare parts if you have any issues. We do have a fleet of 2022 Polygon Xtrada 6 1×11 mountain bikes that are perfectly suited for our rides sizes medium to extra large..
QUESTION – Am I able to modify the advertised tour to suit my needs?
ANSWER -Our cycling adventures are super flexible to suit your needs and desires. We currently run tours through Darwin, the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, Litchfield National Park and Nitmiluk National Park and can mix and match to your requirements to make sure you have a memorable experience and want to come back.
QUESTION – Can you accommodate vegetarians or special dietary restrictions?
ANSWER – We sure do! During the booking process we ask about any menu needs, food intolerances, allergies, and just plain dislikes for restaurant meals, picnics, snacks, etc… Generally we try to provide a well balanced, delicious menu daily with interesting local foods featured.
